Hand-painted circa 1950 by artist Agnes Sanchez, “Characters” features the sketchbook drawings of family, friends, people on the streets and subways. Painted directly onto cotton canvas for curtains, the original collection is made up of 6 panels, each one completely unique, each person with a story to tell.

Working with the daughter of the artist, jewelry designer Gabrielle Sanchez, Fallingstar has created a pattern that includes every bit as much charm and story-telling as the artist’s original work.
